Are you in my Friendster?

You probably got a message from one of your friend saying you'd been filmed and there's a web link that you tried opening but can't get through. Well, by doing that you're not only posting an automatic message to some of your friends but risking your computer for potential virus too....


So be aware of this messages and try to ignore or delete them. The people who's doing this are from the Philippines and their mimicking Youtube's URL web page.


Right now they are posting automatic comments with the video of a sexy girl and if you tried opening it you'll post the exact same comment to some of your random friends...


In addition, if you receive a comment and/or message that has a video with a link that takes you to what looks like a friendster log-in page delete the comment and do not use the log-in link.

Someone has phished the account it came from and is trying to phish yours.

Using the log-in link will give them your log-in info and access to your account to do whatever they want.


To help prevent this, I'm asking everyone to repost this bulletin or send this message to all of your friends. With this we can have a much more better friendster experience.

Recently I have been receiving comments in my friendster page showing a really sexy girl in cam. The video read something like "watch me undress". Okay, it may not be that direct but the reader will somehow get the jist. And so maybe any tempting friendster user may click on the video and boom. it will automatically be forwarded to probably all his/her contact list. You have probably seen it in your comments section too.

Not only that. You might also see your inbox being bombarded by messages about some nice thing to watch in some site. I have not clicked that site because as soon as I realized that like these 5 contacts whom I havent seen for years, have suddenly sent me PMs in friendster, I knew theres something fishy about it.

So this is not the first time this happened. But Filipinos being blamed for this. hmmm... Not the first time either. Remember the LOVE virus. A Filipino has started it all. He was not charged as good-ol-PI was not prepared for those type of crime. When his "worm" crawled and went thru Pentagon's sophisticated firewall, many have sided him saying this "college thesis" is brilliant after all. The last rumor I heard about him is that he now works secretly with Microsoft. Good or Bad publicity? If the rumor is correct, Good for him, Bad for the Philippines.

Or is it really? As a Filipino would you like to be known famous for the source of what some countries know as "cyber crimes"? Or does it make you proud to know that these intelligent geeks have decided to create a nuissance program to make a name for themselves, or before they have even catch them, the Philippines?

A friend will oftentimes put this "status" in his YM. Oh well, I can totally relate to that. I went into a shopping spree again. I really dont intend to, but i just cant help myself. That's how I am. I dont want to justify what I have done but I just read an article in Today about "smart shopping can somehow help the economy."


I believe in that. I cant help but compare Singaporeans to Filipinos. Hasnt it cross your mind how many shopping malls there is in this small island? Almost every MRT stations has a shopping mall, mini mall, commercial complex attached. Even LRTs have. And these people not just go there because its aircon (ahem!). You will notice that almost all of them will not go home empty handed. So they may earn more than Filipinos, but how many times have I heard about Singapore being one of the top cities listed with a soaring high cost of living. So I guess its also on how the money is being circulated. Don't you think?

Anyway, this is a blog on where to eat. Sugar (you will hear him oftem) and I went to eat in City Hall called Shokudo Food Bazaar. If you're new in Sg, heres a thing to know about Singaporeans. They love to eat! Almost every block have Hawker centers aka Food court. And if you are looking for a good resto, it wont be a "headache"---a Singlish term for "causing headache". Google it and you will have a long list of resto reviews.

Well, here's mine. Shokudo Japanese Food Bazaar is located B1 of Raffles Shopping Center. You can again google for some pictures. But I would say that the place overall is 10 stars. Ambiance 10 stars as well. I just have to warn you that if you plan to have your dinner here during weekdays office hours, you might want to bring some crackers with you while waiting on a long queue. When I went there for the first time we waited for maybe 20 minutes. So that will probably explain how delicious the menu is.

This type of restaurant by the way has their own unique way of taking your orders. Dont worry they will ask you in the entrance if youve been there before or is it your first time there. They will give you this sort of credit card (dont dare lose it as it automatically costs S$50). Once inside, you will be welcomed by a Japanese ancient soldier which my officemate had a chance of taking pictures with. There are 10 or more stalls of Japanese food, which you can request for the cooks to cook for you. Shortest waiting time will be on the Dessert Section. Around 2 minutes. Longest will be on the Grill section, 10 minutes. You can wait there or just come back with the receipt.

The food--10 stars. Its quite pricey too. First time I went there, we spent S$50 for the two of us. Second time, the three of us (with ofcmate) spent S$80. Today, S$50 again.
Heres our order and the price

2 mineral water $3.40
1 salmon cheese cut Maki $7.50
1 Chuka Iidako $2.50
1 Grilled Suqid w/ almond rice $10.80
1 tempura rice bowl $9.50
1 yaki tori $2.50
1 quail egg with bacon $2.50
1 waffle w/ ice cream (white coffee ^_^) $5.80
plus 10% svc charge
plus 7% GST

TOTAL: $51.20 (good thing we agreed of dutch or else...waaaaaaaaaah)

I was not able to take pictures. But the food that they have can only be described as DELICIOUS! I will definitely recommend this place.

Direction: Alight cityhall MRT. Go all the way up to Raffles Mall. Go down to B1. Theres an escalator beside Starbucks that you can use. Then turn all the way left.
